To clarify, in what context would this be displayed, and what would this look like?

I want files named "UNLICENSE" to have the same icon that ones named "LICENSE" have.
I want to see them in the file browser of the editor. I want both VSCode + forks and Zed to have this. I got redirected to open an issue here: https://github.com/catppuccin/zed-icons/issues

@Souvlaki42 But can you explain why do we need an UNLICENSE file? The file just doesn't look standard enough. Can you show me the proof that anyone use this file? You can show us a website or search on GitHub for the file.

This file is used with the same intent as a LICENSE file for a public domain, however you write a public domain declaration, not a license. Maybe a slash on top of the LICENSE icon?

Giving your license file the name UNLICENSE just helps signifying your distance from the whole licensing situation as the website clearly states. It also helps with searching for public domain projects on Git platforms.

You would traditionally put the above statement into a file named COPYING or LICENSE. However, to explicitly distance yourself from the whole concept of copyright licensing, we recommend that you put your unlicensing statement in a file named UNLICENSE. Doing so also means that your project can more easily be found on e.g. GitHub or Bitbucket, enabling others to reuse your code in their own unencumbered public domain projects. When publishing your code to registries such as NPM or PyPI, set the license field to Unlicense to mark the usage of this license.

I just thought, it would a nice and relatively easy change. I could even try opening a PR myself, if you would prefer that.
