[BUG] Changing the font via settings causes the material/icon font to be changed too

Step 3. Describe the issue

the issue is essentially what's described in the title, where all my icons (aside from the pacman ones for workspaces) have been turned into text after changing my font via the settings widget. for example, my power button shows "power_settings_new" where the icon should be. see the attached image for how this looks for me.

id also like to know where the settings widget stores the font, so i can change it back to the defaults in hopes that it fixes this issue please.

I encountered this error after trying out the new font customization feature. The font settings are located in the settings menu, and everything went back to normal once I reselected this font.
