What is your idea about?

Adopting software to be managed by Homebrew fails sporadically because the installed software "seems to differ" from the one available by Homebrew. An "I don't care, adopt anyway" button should be added.

Given that adopting may destroy or corrupt data, this button ought to cause a confirmation alert.
(It did happen to me.)

Why should this be added?

It would be a cool feature.
