Morphologist UI Steps and Output

Hi all,

Im new to neuroimaging analysis and currently doing my masters thesis which I use Morphologist for.

I was wondering if there is any manual that thoroughly explains the steps taken by Morphologist (UI) to calculate and extract the sulcal morphometry. Furthermore I was looking for an explanation for the csv Output that is given by Morphologist and what each column represents and how the data is calculated (i.e. opening, depth etc.).

The way morphometric features are extracted and calculated is partly explained in:

In sulcal graphs, we have a record of "simple surface" points, "bottom" points etc. Depth, for instance, is the max or average (depending whether it is the max or average depth) geodesic distance between bottom points and "hull junction" points (points joining the external brain hull and the fold simple surface - thus undefined on burried sulci which do not touch the hull).
Sulcal opening has been added after this publication, and is an average approximation: it is the volume of CSV within the fold region divided by the surface of the sulcus (more precisely the half surface since the surface covers both sides of the fold).
