File management interface is too crowded

It's really cumbersome to manage / approve / delete files in the file-view because (mostly) the permissions field is filled with tons of lines with <br> in them. I suggest this should be changed to icons, so everything can fit in the columns (because scrolling/swiping right can trigger a history.back(); event, leaving the user to start all over....)

This could (because I don't know django's server side preprocessing features) be refactored to some aria-compatible icon <span> element that just shows an icon, and lets the user hover for more info; or with a legend above the filter on the right hand side:
