Unable to use self hosted Jira with this pluign any more

Describe the bug
I used to use this plugin against our company self hosted Jira instance, with API token. This doesn't seem to be possible any more. If I try to add a site with API token and put in our local Jira instance address, I get the error:

Cloud authentication error
'Authorization did not complete in the time alotted for 'jiracloud'

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to Atlassian Settings -> JIRA
2. Click on Login With API Token
3. Enter a local self hosted Jira address and click OK
4. See error

Expected behavior
Plugin should authenticate with self hosted instances

Environment and Version (please complete the following information):

• Atlassian Plugin Version (4.0.13)
• Visual Studio Code Version (1.9.1.1)
• Is this a local or cloud environment? (Local)
• If Local, OS (windows)

From the error message:

Cloud authentication error
'Authorization did not complete in the time alotted for 'jiracloud'

it looks like the extension is trying to use the Jira Cloud OAuth flow rather than the API token flow for your self‑hosted Jira instance.
Could you please try the following and let us know if it changes the behavior?

1. Remove any existing Jira/Atlassian accounts configured in the extension.
2. Restart VS Code.
3. Go to Atlassian Settings → Jira → Login with API Token.
4. Enter your self‑hosted Jira base URL and API token again, then save.

If you still see the same error after retrying with API token auth, please share:
A fresh screenshot of the error dialog, and
Any relevant logs from the extension (e.g., from the “Atlassian” output channel in VS Code).

This will help us see whether the extension is still trying to route you through the Cloud flow.
