Enum from different connection

Greetings,

I have a question related to enumerated lists in Seal Report.
Here is the case:

1. I have a SQL query model that uses SQL connection and have a parameter in a query. This parameter should take value from an enum list.
2. There is a second connection to Oracle that feed the data into the enum.

Once I go back to the model common restriction I`m not able to pick the enum from the Oracle connection.

How to overcome that issue ?

well, the enums will come from the current Data Source of the model, you have to crrate the enum wanted in the Data Source.

As a side question ... I was wondering since the ENUM`s can be executed before report execution ( for example list of filter values: A, B, C ). Why we cannot use these values inside different models/connections since the values are already buffered/cached?

My use case is described above... I have 2 separate connection (SQL server and Oralce). I want to get a value from SQL Server and use it in Oracle query as a filter condition.
Creation of db link is not possible.

The simplest is use the Init Script of you report to copy values from one 1 enum (got from your Oracle Data Source) to another enum (the one use in the report).
You can do that with a few lines of code.
