The Memory tool is available in the Agent SDK. The SDK spawns Claude Code which includes the Memory tool as a built-in tool, so agents can use it in SDK sessions.

Additionally, v0.1.49 added a memory field to AgentDefinition, allowing you to configure memory behavior for subagents.
