Package on pub.dev dead?

So apparently here on Github there are still changes being made but on pub.dev the package hasn't been updated in over 2 years.

Anything official about this so people won't possibly build their app on a dead package?

Might be a good idea to let people know

Well This seems to me like a dead package so please move on from this is what i would recommend
