Incomplete test suite: Add more tests for API testing and DB mocking

• Tests are incomplete and broken
• Fix tests and run them
• Use pytest as testing suite

To run current tests, first install project requirements.

pip3 install -r requirements.txt

then

cd tests/
pytest

Hello,
I was looking at issue #65 regarding the testing suite. I ran the tests on my local setup (Python 3.12), and they all passed. I did notice a small deprecation warning from pytest-asyncio, which I resolved by setting asyncio_default_fixture_loop_scope = function in pytest.ini.
However, I’m not sure what this issue is referring to specifically. If it’s still important or unresolved, I’d love to work on it.

The issue refers to incomplete test suite.

You are right the title is confusing.

I would be happy if you could add some api tests, testing response codes. DB mocking and testing will be also helpful.
