packer build fails and REFUSES to work

so i have been trying to compile these imasges for days now and its EXTREMELEY painful. For windows 2019 the latest release before the pre release gets stuck at this

For linux its ubunut 20.04 and same thing its the latest release before the pre release
\runner-images-ubuntu22-20220828.1\images\linux\scripts\installers\google-chrome.sh return 1
it fails becuase both of these tests

i restrated the process and will post the full error for linux

1. You should always use the main branch to build an image
2. Please attach packer logs against main branch

For Ubuntu it's a well-known issue - #6200

should i just remove this step within packer?

Got it fixed for windows. For linux i removed the steps that were failling and its compiling
