Hi @pombredanne, I would like to work on this. I plan to add a
CondaEnvironmentYmlHandler that parses environment.yml files to
extract the environment name, channels, conda dependencies with
versions and nested pip dependencies. Will open a PR soon.

Hi @pombredanne, I’ve opened PR #4804 to add a CondaEnvironmentYmlHandler for parsing environment.yml files. All the local tests are passing on my end.
