Proton-CachyOS v3 versions

Hey!

Is there a reason why there is only standard version for said Proton variant?

On ProtonUp-Qt you can select standard or v3 version. Latter one should be "more optimised" for recent systems if I'm right so the option should be here as well.

Oh that's because my app checks your system to see if it supports v3 and if it does it downloads that version, but if it doesnt it downloads the other version. This was just to make it easier for user that may not know what to choose.

Hm... but since I am using a Ryzen 3900X CPU according to Cachy Wiki v3 is supported.

I dont show the v3 to keep it simple for the user, but if you download it, it will show v3 if you inspect the files.

Hm... not shure how I am able to see that. The folder name either does not indicate it or the downloaded version is no v3.

Installed v3 version with the other tool has at least the v3 in the folder name. Though the "version" file contains no v3 either.

And in ProtonUp-Qt it either does not show correct information as well or I don't understand it.

Same in your tool.

(20250702 was installed with ProtonPlus - 20250714 v3 with ProtonUp-Qt)

Update:
"compatibilitytool.vdf" seems to clearly indicate that v3 did not get downloaded.
