Out of bound issue in `bpm_block`

during rebuilds with recent glibc, a Debian developer reported an out of bound issue;

Hi Charles!

Pretty sure this was fixed some time ago and in the recent version (v3.4.9). Am working on a new release atm - so perhaps the Debian dev can wait for this?
