Updating Windows

I am actually wondering whether updates/patches are applied to Windows in the container. Probably it will work when explicitly connection to the desktop and force reboot or something. But in case I just will use the application exposed by WinBoat this is never going to happen. Can anybody comment on that?

Yes, it works, as you suspect, from the desktop. I have already tried this. But... it could cause quite a bit of confusion, so I would advise against it. You never know what MS is doing in the background! Above all, I absolutely advise against signing in anywhere with an MS account! That will cause 100% problems!
