So instead of having one vertical column like it is now, have two columns side by side. Left for the options like page type and margins and right for the preview. So we do not have to keep scrolling down and up to check the cahnges and change the settings. Also, it is only a screen space waste as it is.

Good call out here. I agree the side by side looks better. Currently there is a limitation of the content dialog to grow to that size and it would take some more complex layout to swap the controls out of the scrollviewer, but it should be possible.
