Setting Home - Root Empty - Following System Theme #4546

Describe the bug

  1. I assumed, if setting the Home, then, no matter what path you were in when closing Amaze, that when you reopened Amaze it would always open up at the Home, but it doesn't.

  2. My device is rooted, and I set root as my Home. Many times when I start amaze the root is empty, no directories appear.

  3. System (follow system theme) doesn't work, it uses the default colors.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the Home behavior

  1. Settings enable Root Explorer
  2. Close Amaze
  3. Open amaze, tap 3 bars upper left
  4. Tap root to appear
  5. 3 Dots upper right tap Set as Home
  6. Swipe to view Internal Storage
  7. Go to any path in the Internal Storage
  8. Close and reopen amaze - now it opens back to the previous path in the internal storage
  9. Now under /storage/emulated/0 3 dots upper right tap Set as Home - but still no changes

Expected behavior Home
A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.

  1. For the Home behavior, I assumed when setting the Home, no matter where you were at when closing amaze, when reopening amaze, it would always open up back at this Home.

Expected behavior Root

  1. When reopening amaze on a rooted device the root should not appear empty. Sometimes I have to close and reopen amaze several times to get the root directories to appear.

When the root appears empty and I swipe to view the internal storage, and then swipe back to view the root, the top color under root will then shift slighty. As an example, if I make the root tab red, and the internal storage tab purple, when shifting back, the root tab then becomes a slight red/purple hue, a combimation now of both colors.

Expected behavior System theme

  1. When setting the Theme to System (follow system theme) it should follow the system look. When starting amaze and picking to follow the system theme, it just shows the default color, either a white or dark background, blue tabs, and the off red looking icons.
