[Bug]: 9.5.7 seems very sluggish in new version in big librarys

i decided to try the new version however it seems to run slower, significantly so

(in a big library) Searching freezes the program for a little bit, opening it takes 5 minits (compared to .08 seconds in 9.5.6), adding tags also briefly freezes the program compared to before where all of these was basicly instant
(this "big" library has 36k entries for context)

checking a library with only 7k entries it takes 1.6 seconds to fully open in .7 , in .6 it only takes .01 seconds

seems there may be an optimization gremlin somewhere if its making it take this long

Expected Behavior

it should be about as smooth as 9.5.6

couldn't tell you if there's more specific details but Large libraries seem to be a requirement

Nice we got an update, uh has been a few months but yeah is kind of to sluggish for me in my libraries to use at the moment

wonder how the unoptimized stuff got in, usually this program is about one of the most optimized things i use, perhaps the long lead time was the cause? dunno there

i see though, in .6 it was running smoother even with out those optimizations, so whats different in this grey area between .6 and this hypothetical version with that fix in place?

hopefully the library version being 103 on a version of tag that can only read 102 doesn't cause issues for me in the mean time

If you want it early you can run:

CREATE INDEX IF NOT EXISTS idx_tags_name_shorthand ON tags (name, shorthand);
CREATE INDEX IF NOT EXISTS idx_tag_parents_child_id ON tag_parents (child_id);
CREATE INDEX IF NOT EXISTS idx_tag_entries_entry_id ON tag_entries (entry_id);

It fixed my 20 minutes loading times to only a second
