Add more AI Features

Here are several AI‑powered capabilities you could consider adding to the Image Toolbox app. Keep in mind that this would increase app size by a lot which is why it would make sense to have it as an optional feature and the user needs to download the models. It would make things a lot more easier.

Describe the solution you'd like

1. AI‑based auto‑enhance: Analyzes exposure, contrast, saturation, noise, and sharpness, then applies optimal adjustments with a single tap. Saves time for casual users who want good enough photos without fiddling with sliders.
2. Super‑resolution upscaling: Upscales low‑resolution images (e.g., 720p → 4K) while preserving detail. Helps users recover quality from older photos or screenshots.
3. Text‑to‑image generation / editing: Users type a prompt (e.g., “a futuristic city at dusk” / "change the t-shirt to black") and the model creates a new image that can be edited further. (Performance issues on phones??)

Content aware fill is already available, check the spot heal tool, it uses LaMa model

I think 1 and 4 will not be added, but maybe @T8RIN have already some experiments with upscaling through esrgan

Please keep them optional/manual download, don't bundle it with the app. A few apps I used added AI models/functionalities with it and the app size jumped from 50ish MB to 300+

I don't want many advanced AI features, so please provide users who don't want them an option to use the app without them

For image generation, why not just use already available stuff ?? What even is the point of adding text to image generation on an otherwise phenomenal app ?

He won't bundle it with the app, you would have to download the models first. I think he said it many times in the past that he doesn't want to increase the app size because of it.

Yeah, image generation on phones is probably also not really working great, so it's fine if it's not integrated for now. Vut we would have to see what the future of AI is. Just don't want to use any proprietary slop.

I will not add generation by prompt (at least for now), but now I added 75 ready-to-use AI models for different purposes. Of course, app size will increase to 3 gigabytes (joking; it should be almost no change compared to the previous release, as all models are optionally and manually downloaded).

Image generation is better if you have a good GPU on the PC, so makes sense. Thanks for cooking this up, I appreciate that very much! This app is definitely one of the best I have used, so thank you for your hard work!
