Batch Convert: "Unknown" format and "Error" when processing .ass files in v5.0.0-beta13

I encountered an issue where the Batch Convert tool fails to recognize the format of .ass files (showing as "Unknown") and returns an "Error; Error" status when attempting to convert/offset them. This might be related to long file paths or specific characters in the folder names.
Steps to Reproduce

1. Open Subtitle Edit v5.0.0-beta13.
2. Open the Batch Convert window (Tools > Batch convert).
3. Add multiple .ass files to the list.
4. Note that the "Format" column displays "Unknown" instead of "Advanced Substation Alpha".
5. Select "Offset time codes" and set a value.
6. Click "Convert".

Actual Result
The "Status" column shows "Error; Error" and no files are processed.**

reduce the folder filename size and try again

probably should come up with an error if the folder lengh is to long
