Tin, it should be shipping with the debugserver .so instead.

At the time, this behavior was chosen due to support debugging DreamSeeker under Wine, which is still the default flow in the VSC extension.

Then the code for that needs updating cause it doesn't try to use wine, it tries to direct launch the exe, which doesn't work, at least on my system.

Ah, I've always used wine-binfmt or whatever the equivalent is.

Update: Just tried with wine-binfmt installed, but I'm getting OS error 8 (exec format error), which is strange. Tried with 1666 and 1667.
