What would you like to see added or changed?
Make this plugin run as a serverside Fabric mod, supporting the same features and SQL database access as it does on Paper. Similar to other plugins like Bluemap and LuckPerms. This will allow server networks to have global nicknames regardless of what the backend is running on.
Why do you want this feature?
I really like the way this plugin handles nicknames and saves them to a SQL database.
I wish to run my server network partially on Fabric and partially on Paper, using a SQL database to sync player info such as nicknames. Most of the plugins I would use under Paper exist in Fabric (or have an alternative) except for this one.
This plugin's lack of Fabric loader support is the one thing keeping me from using Fabric serverside.
Have you tried any alternatives?
I have not found any nickname plugins that work on both Paper and Fabric, with the option to sync to an SQL database. Also, most nickname mods I have seen for Fabric don't quite measure up to this plugin in terms of quality, and I would like to see a proper nicknames option for Fabric
