Is there any other solution, as my network downloads this thing very slowly regardless of whether I use a proxy or not

The new version requires downloading a document file, but the download is slow and requires a long wait for each installation

sometimes I need 4 minutes for download skia, CI have 7'30s to done task but 4' download skia. 👍 @wcandillon any update?

We don't have a good solution at the moment for this. Right now, because of CocoaPods, we have to use xcframework files, and this means that we cannot split the Apple binaries into different npm packages. So we have to host these binaries somewhere. Right now we use GitHub releases. Is there another place we could host them? Would it be faster there?

I had a look at it and it looks like we can split the .xcframework into smaller ones that would allow to ship the binaries in npm. So this seems to be the solution. I will first do the split and take it from there.

I finished splitting the apple binaries and it's working well, so I might be close to have everything on npm, giving it a try now.
