When running the app in development mode, the app fails to start with a Liquid syntax error related to a theme app extension block.
This issue did not occur previously and started happening after upgrading Shopify CLI to version 3.88.x.
Downgrading the CLI to 3.84.x does not resolve the issue.

• The theme app extension was generated using:
shopify app generate extension
