P5R Steam launch via deployed ASI loader crashes in coreclr.dll (0xc0000602)

Summary

Persona 5 Royal (Steam) crashes or hangs at startup when launched from its normal Steam library entry after deploying the ASI loader. The same enabled mods work when launching P5R through Reloaded-II itself.

Environment

• Reloaded-II: 1.30.2
• Game: Persona 5 Royal (Steam), P5R.exe version 1.0.4.0
• OS: Windows 11 (build 26200.8655)
• Reloaded installation: C:\Users\muham\Documents\p5mod
• P5R executable: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\P5R\P5R.exe
• Enabled mods: p5rpc.modloader / Persona 5 Royal Essentials and crifs.v2.hook

Steps to reproduce

1. Add P5R to Reloaded-II and enable Persona 5 Royal Essentials (Intro Skip enabled).
2. Confirm the game launches and the mod works when launched through Reloaded-II.
3. In Edit Application → Advanced Tools & Options, deploy the ASI loader.
4. Launch P5R from the original Steam library entry.

Actual result

P5R starts, then either hangs as Not Responding or crashes during startup. Windows created both AppHang and AppCrash reports.

The AppCrash report says:

A dump was created locally at:

C:\Users\muham\AppData\Local\CrashDumps\P5R.exe.19816.dmp

The game directory contains the files added by ASI deployment:

winmm.dll
Reloaded.Mod.Loader.Bootstrapper.asi

Expected result

Launching P5R from Steam after deploying the ASI loader should load the same mods without crashing.

Notes

• The issue persists after removing ReShade, so ReShade does not appear to be the cause.
• crashpad_handler.exe is present in the stock P5R Steam installation; disabling it was not attempted.
• The crash only occurs with the Steam/ASI startup path; launching through Reloaded-II works.
