Reading a .txt File

The Project Pythia Python Tutorial Series continues with Reading a .txt File on Thursday, May 26th at 1 PM Mountain Daylight Time. This session will be led by Julia Kent.

There will be 5 parts to this "Your First" Python Script series.

Pre-Requisites

Attendees are expected to be familiar with a text editor and the command line.

Bio

Julia Kent is an NCAR Software Engineer in Boulder, Colorado. Julia has made contributions to Python packages such as Xarray and Intake. She uses her background in atmospheric and oceanic sciences to create better Python learning resources for geoscientists as part of Pangeo and Project Pythia.

How-to-Run

This tutorial will be run in the command line via a terminal and text editor. You need to have Python installed Conda and Git.
