How to authenticate AWS ECR for Deployments?

I am following this guide on getting started with ECS Workers. I was able to create the ECS cluster, Task Definition, IAM roles, etc. but once I run prefect deploy I get a no basic auth credentials error despite having authenticated using the AWS CLI.

Am I missing a step?

I have to run something like this before I can deploy:

aws ecr get-login-password | docker login --username AWS --password-stdin ${AWS_ACCOUNT_ID}.dkr.ecr.${AWS_REGION}.amazonaws.com
