Password recovery broken: "invalid email" and no email sent

Problem: Password recovery fails.

• For Gmail addresses: shows "invalid email" (see i forgot my password, theyre saying gmail accounts are invalid??????? #488).
• For Mail.ru addresses: accepts email but sends nothing (no error, not in Spam).

Steps to reproduce:

1. Click "Forgot password?".
2. Enter a valid, attached account email.
3. Result: error message or silent failure.

Proof (my case):

• Accessed account by guessing old password.
• Account contains featured project "3D render test" (featured on 2025-08-12).
• Email is confirmed and functional elsewhere.

ReCAPTCHA is not the issue

Thank you for the response. The problem is not on the login page (CAPTCHA loads fine there). The bug is in the password recovery system.

Bug Description:
When a user clicks "Forgot password?" and enters a valid, account-attached email (tested with @mail.ru and @gmail.com domains), the system fails silently or gives a false error.

Observed inconsistent behavior for @mail.ru:

First attempt: System accepts the email but no recovery email arrives (checked Inbox and Spam). No error is shown to the user.

Second attempt (same email, same session): System now shows a false "Invalid Email" error.

The issue for @gmail.com addresses (reported in #488) seems to consistently show the "Invalid Email" error.

Steps to Reproduce (@mail.ru case):

Register a new account with a @mail.ru email.

Log out.

Click "Forgot password?" and enter that email.

Observe result 1: No email is received, no error on screen.

Click "Send email" again

Observe result 2: "Invalid Email" error appears.
