See what PRs are rescueable from original MightyPirates repo

There are open PRs on the original repo that might be worth bringing over to the port. Let's make a list and discuss.

I looked and came up with the following list of PRs that might be worth putting additional effort into short-term:

• theoretically fix #3580 MightyPirates/OpenComputers#3590 (tries to fix Memory leak in thread API MightyPirates/OpenComputers#3580)
• Maybe fix Coroutine.wrap? MightyPirates/OpenComputers#3752 (tries to fix Coroutine.wrap does not propagate errors raised in a coroutine MightyPirates/OpenComputers#3687)
• [1.7.10]Fixed villager trading being inconsistent with vanilla MightyPirates/OpenComputers#3755 (I don't understand what inconsistent behavior is trying to be fixed here)
• Fix disk label lost on read-only mode MightyPirates/OpenComputers#3791
• Infinite leash fix MightyPirates/OpenComputers#3795 (tries to fix leash upgrade result in infinite leash MightyPirates/OpenComputers#3376)
• Fix HTTP error response handling in Internet API (#3663) MightyPirates/OpenComputers#3782 (tries to fix Internet API Throws Exception for HTTP Error Response (again) MightyPirates/OpenComputers#3663)
• Fix TCP socket finishConnect() exception handling and connection logic MightyPirates/OpenComputers#3783 (it remains unclear what exactly the author is trying to fix with this...)

Some of these PRs might be LLM-generated. Most other open PRs probably do not make sense in the context of 1.21 (refactors, adding/fixing integrations, etc) or are not high-priority with such a tiny team.

My understanding is that none of the PRs on the original MightyPirates repo are LLM generated.

However, it is also worth exploring https://github.com/GTNewHorizons/OpenComputers for their patches. I backported some of them from time to time, but certainly not all. I last looked at their status quo on May 31st, 2026.

Alright, so I've reviewed and merged

• Fix detached OpenOS thread cleanup (theoretically fix #3580 MightyPirates/OpenComputers#3590)
• Fix coroutine error/return handling (Maybe fix Coroutine.wrap? MightyPirates/OpenComputers#3752)
• Preserve labels on read-only filesystems (Fix disk label lost on read-only mode MightyPirates/OpenComputers#3791)
• Prevent leash upgrades from duplicating leads (Infinite leash fix MightyPirates/OpenComputers#3795)
• Allow optional HTTP error response bodies (Fix HTTP error response handling in Internet API (#3663) MightyPirates/OpenComputers#3782)
• Propagate TCP connection failures (Fix TCP socket finishConnect() exception handling and connection logic MightyPirates/OpenComputers#3783)
• Add asynchronous computer beep support (Add async option to beep function to fix #3789 MightyPirates/OpenComputers#3798)
• Require exact item matches for villager trades ([1.12]Fixed villager trading being inconsistent with vanilla MightyPirates/OpenComputers#3756) (used 3756 as it was 1.12.1.)

Note that beeps were deliberately left synchronous, as per the PR discussion. The idea was to fill in the blank with a more advanced sound card peripheral, which would also properly handle network load (batch sound commands etc).
