I can't open the report because my browsers are unable to open it without crashing. How can I view the results? I would like to have the system specification at the top, pass/fail/error per rule and a summary, thats it.
My setup:
System with 48 GB of RAM
openscap 1.4.2
complianceAsCode 0.1.79, manually downloaded
ssg-debian13-ds.xml with profile anssi intermediary
results.html is 317MB
E.g. edge ist using 13GB of memory still cant scroll - and no further increase, chrome allows to scroll but crashing, firefox is able to open it but only works for a few seconds.
What I did:
I used oscap xccdf eval first, followed by oscap xccdf generate report, regardless of using results/arf/thin Iam not able to produce a html report which can be viewed in browser.
What I want:
A human-usable report with system specifications, per-rule status in a compact form, overall summary.
Questions:
Is there an existing option or recommended workflow to reduce the report size or produce a summary only html report?
Is it known that report generation are that huge, or maybe something odd on my system/side/config?
Is oscap xccdf generate custom the intended way to get a less simple report?
