## 3. Installation
### 3.1 Windows Installation
**Step 1: Download the Installer**
1. Visit https://cloudsync.io/download
2. Click "Download for Windows"
3. Save `CloudSyncSetup.exe` to your Downloads folder
**Step 2: Run the Installer**
1. Double-click `CloudSyncSetup.exe`
2. Click "Yes" if User Account Control prompts appear
3. Select installation language (English is default)
4. Click "Next" to begin

1. Default location: `C:\Program Files\CloudSync`

### 4.1 First Sync Setup
**Choose Your Sync Folder**:
1. After signing in, you'll see "Choose Sync Folder" dialog
2. **Default**: `C:\Users\YourName\CloudSync` (Windows) or `~/CloudSync` (Mac/Linux)
3. **Custom**: Click "Change" to select different location
4. Click "Start Syncing"
**Select What to Sync**:
CloudSync offers two sync modes:
- **Sync Everything** (Default): All files in your cloud storage
- **Selective Sync**: Choose specific folders
For Selective Sync:
1. Click "Selective Sync" button in settings
2. Uncheck folders you don't want on this device
3. Click "Update"
### 4.2 Adding Files
**Method 1: Drag and Drop**
1. Open your CloudSync folder in File Explorer/Finder
2. Drag files from other locations
