I can't reopen the issue due to lack of privileges but it is still there #2134
OO just refuses to save the file. Its not fixed in my version ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors Community 9.2.1.43 (x64 deb).
I've seen people have been communicating this problem many times for I don't know how long, making them stop using OO. I don't remember any other software having this kind of issue at my system (linux manjaro).

Unfortunately I can confirm that this issue has returned in the Flatpak version and caused me to lose work on a spreadsheet for my job today.

Unfortunately, I was unable to reproduce the issue you described on a Mint Cinnamon VM - both the deb and flatpak versions of the application save presentations and spreadsheets correctly, even after a period of inactivity. The issue also did not occur with rpm versions on a physical machine.
Please provide step-by-step instructions to reproduce the issue and, if possible, record a video demonstrating it.
Additionally, please include your system specifications (output of neofetch/fastfetch) and attach system logs from the 5–15 minutes (journalctl --since "15 minutes ago") preceding the file saving error.

I apologize, I'm a Linux noob and don't know how to do the system logs/fastfetch/neofetch thing, but my system is Fedora 43 KDE, kernel 6.18.4.

Here's a video recording. The step by step is just to open an xlsx spreadsheet or Word doc, work in it for a while, and after a few hours the error will occur.

@DarthZiplock Thank you for the clarification. Does the crash occur with a specific file, or with multiple files that share a common characteristic (e.g., containing large amounts of data)? Or does the file size and content not matter, and the error can occur even when creating a new empty file?

Doesn't appear to be related to file size. This one happened with a fairly large spreadsheet (~25mb), but it'll happen with really simple small files too. The only consistent factor is time--after the file has been open for an hour or two, that's when the problem occurs.

The flatpak core itself was updated in December, I wonder if that has anything to do with it.
