Pig Model Broken

When Opening the pig.v1.8 model in BlockBench the body of the pig has turned 90 degrees, and is facing upwards.

I know what you mean. That happens because BlockBench doesn't register the binded pose of bones. If you manually read the file you should find there a "bind_pose_rotation" component which rotates the body 90 degrees to the right pose.
