You cannot set keyboard shortcuts in apps like Obsidian because.... Poor design 🤷🏻♂️
You have to set them using a physical keyboard or go without.

hacker's keyboard had a great little trick: it had an option to enable a persistent notification and when that notification was tapped it would bring up the keyboard over the current app. This allowed for setting keyboard shortcuts. It no longer works because no updates for years and android overlay permission.
LeanType already has the draw over other apps permission, therefore maybe this little "hack" might be easy to do 🤞
Use case
so I can put the CTRL key I added to my layout to full use and get rid of many of the Obsidian toolbar keys 😁

Get a Bluetooth keyboard 😂
