Dependency library "Pattern" breaks for Python > 3.6

My config :

• Ubuntu 20.04
• Python 3.7

Error Stack:

This PR #317 of pattern library solves to issue.

Since it is not merged yet. you can try the monkey patch as follows:

• clone the repo using git clone https://github.com/clips/pattern
• replicate the changes of #317 locally
• cd pattern
• python setup.py install
