[Monitoring] Track search visibility, public name use and authoritative links #113

Description

@KeyffMS

Parent project: #95
Depends on: #97, #100, #105, #106, #108, #109, #110, #111, #112

Objective

Maintain evidence that the exact SightAdapt name consistently resolves to the official project and detect confusing third-party use or broken authoritative links early.

Acceptance criteria

  • Define a monthly check for exact searches: SightAdapt, "SightAdapt", SightAdapt Windows, SightAdapt GitHub and SightAdapt accessibility.
  • Review Google, Bing, GitHub, WinGet and selected directory results.
  • Record the first page position and authoritative URLs without collecting personal search data.
  • Track whether the website, repository and releases show correct titles and snippets.
  • Monitor exact-name repository, package, domain and app-store uses.
  • Monitor materially confusing names only when they are in the same software/accessibility field.
  • Archive dated screenshots or machine-readable reports for significant milestones.
  • Maintain a public-use evidence log containing release tags, website deployment dates, directory listings and announcement URLs.
  • Create an issue when an official link is broken, a listing becomes stale or a third party creates a materially confusing product identity.
  • Do not send legal notices automatically; route concrete conflicts through a documented review.
  • Review the tracker quarterly and remove channels that are no longer maintained.
  • Define a handover process so domain, search-console and directory ownership does not depend on one undocumented account.

Privacy constraint

Use aggregate/public result checks only. Do not add behavioral analytics or visitor tracking without completing the privacy review in #86.
