[Bug] always grid view - single line does not work

Describe the bug

On the subscription tab, the folders that I have created to organize my channel are always shown as grid. Also when the settings 'show as horizontal single line' is active.

Would like to have the single horizontal line view back to save vertical screen space.

Steps to reproduce the bug

Forced stop the app.
Cleared cache of the android app.
Disable grid view in settings.
Restart app.
Constantly does not help.

Additional context

@dvherk : there are two settings you can adjust related to this I can find in the latest 5.1.1 release:

Menu > ⚙Settings > 🎨Appearance > "Grid layout"
Menu > ⚙Settings > 🛠Advanced > "Always use list mode for Bookmarks"

If you try different combinations of those ON and OFF, does it achieve what you need?

Neither do what I am looking for/how older versions used to present channel groups (horizontal instead of 'grid').

Your suggested options;

1. 'grid layout' changes the view of the subscriptions listed on subscription tab
   Not the Channel Groups view on the subscription tab.

2.'bookmarks' ,don't see any difference on toggle that one. Also not on the bookmark tab.

Maybe this feature got dropped ad a whole, since both the settings fo not seen to be related.

@InfinityLoop1308 : I agree that having one row, that swipes left-to-right, isn't ideal for people who would have tens, if not closer to a hundred, channel groups as the last-one will always takes ages to get to.

How about either:

1. Allow users to pin three channel-groups as favourites, then have a "..." entry, which would go to a separate screen for the rest:

or

2. Maybe cap the "Channel groups" to say five-by-two, then have a "More" option that would expand the grid down to the bottom of the screen

Then the bottom-right option would then become an 🔺 icon labelled "Less" to return to the five-by-two view, or upon going into any of the channel-groups, it would also revert to the 5-by-2 view each time
