PROTEUS tagline/slogan workshopping

The current PROTEUS tagline/slogan is inconsistent across the documentation, code, and GitHub pages. This should be homogenised across the ecosystem - otherwise it feels a bit scattered and unplanned.

Unravel rocky worlds' diverse lifetimes with resolved multi-physics modelling

By the way, the first time I read about PROTEUS the phrase that really blew my mind was "magma ocean". I imagine for folks in the field it's not a big deal, but for laypeople it's just a super awesome concept. At least for those with simple minds like mine, I suppose. My kids were also very impressed ;) If you want to also snare non-experts, might be good to mention that. Not sure if that's the goal for our tagline, though.

The "interior-atmosphere coupling" thing has become a sort of descriptive statement in the literature at this point. I would vote for either (a) leave it in or (b) completely disregard any labelling, methods description or justification. Just "Unravelling the evolution of low-mass planets over billions of years" or similar in case of (b).

I agree with Patrick that the magma ocean concept is fascinating. :)

Ah, we also need to make sure it is distinct from the Interra tagline, which we'll have to invent as well. ;)

Ahh true - I can see that maybe even "Unravelling the evolution of low-mass planets over billions of years" would be a good tagline for Interra. And then perhaps PROTEUS can be more specific by emphasising the interior-atmosphere coupling.

• Interra - "Unravelling the evolution of low-mass planets over billions of years"
• PROTEUS - "Resolved interior-atmosphere planetary evolution simulations for the rocky planet continuum"

The PROTEUS one could be compressed to "Resolved interior-atmosphere rocky planet evolution simulations"

Just for reference, the original one is "Simulate the coupled interior-atmosphere evolution of rocky planets over deep time." Just so we don't accidentally iterate back to this 😆
