Starting from the completed README.MD restoration branch, audit the current public API and add concise, concrete documentation for useful public functionality that is not yet covered by the restored README.
Enhancements must prioritize suitability/ease-of-use evaluation and copyable application-shaped examples, remain accurate against current main, and avoid removing restored historical guidance.
Every commit, PR, and discussion message for this work must reference this issue.
