Take a stance on AI feature intergration (in anticipation of Mozilla)

So, in the most recent versions of Firefox, there is optional AI Chatbot integration.

This in itself is logically concerning depending on who you ask, but a recent video by The Linux Experiment has me considering switching my main internet browser for the first time in over 5 years.

I've looked into LibreWolf's stance on AI features, and their policy appears to be blocking all upstream AI features. I'm wondering what stance, if any, Floorp has on this same issue. I see Floorp as basically the Firefox equivalent to Vivaldi browser, and even Vivaldi is taking a "no AI" stance.

Considering the lack of any answer, the .claude folder in the rpository, no less than three "AI" apps having contributions to this repo, most recently them going out of their way to provide a separate package for "AI" stuff to work (not to mention all the recent beta grade bugs that recently somehow made it past QA, We sure wonder how that happened) and previously showcasing PWA features with a Gemini window, it would seem the stance is very clear.

It's a damn shame, We've recently switched to Floorps specifically to escape that nonsense, now We'll be looking for another browser, because apparently the sheer amount of damage that "AI" is causing to the web is not obvious for developers of webbrowsers.

What browser are you considering?

Hopefully Servo one day when it's advanced enough to a daily driver ready state. For now, the only browser We found that takes a proper, consequent stance against "AI", is usable now and doesn't otherwise support horrible companies/behavior is LibreWolf (Also IronFox on Android), which We sorta wanted to avoid because it has quite silly defaults, but thankfully they're easy to undo with a trip through a dedicated settings tab.

There's also Gnome's Epiphany browser, but if Floorp's customization appealed to you, that browser is a very hard sell.
