Description
Prerequisites

Describe the issue
When a date format like M.d.yyyy is specified, the dates have an trailing dot (.) after the month (M).
Reproduction steps:
- Set your browser's language to Norsk Bokmål or Norwegian Bokmål
- Go to https://getdatepicker.com/6/repl.html
- Paste this code:
import { TempusDominus } from '@eonasdan/tempus-dominus'; new TempusDominus(document.getElementById('datetimepicker1'), { "localization": {"format": "M.d.yyyy"} });
- Choose March 4, 2025 in the picker.
Expected:
Date should be displayed as 3.4.2025
Observed
Date is displayed as 3..4.2025
