Add config setting to control semantic highlighting of annotations

Hello, I was wondering if a setting like semantic.annotation from LuaLS could be added. These highlights appear as code when they're actually comments, which I don't prefer. But I'd still like to keep semantic highlights for everything else.

If your request is to avoid rendering the EmmyLua doc, that's unlikely — the way we traverse the AST isn't visitor-like, so there's no way to intercept subsequent traversal at the comment entry point.

I think all this switch would need to do is not send semantic tokens for anything inside comments. Is there no way to just skip parsing comments specifically for semantic tokens?

You can disable them on the editor side (I'm assuming from your screenshot that you use Neovim).

I'm not sure I see a way to disable semantic tokens only for the annotations. The same highlight groups are used by both annotations and code, so I don't see a way to isolate them.

You can fully customize how semantic tokens map to highlights with custom handler.

But the simplest approach here would be to add tree-sitter highlights for comments with a higher priority (>125).
