A commercial usage license is available to individuals and organizations who maintain an active GitHub Sponsorship at the required tier:

  • Individuals
    If you are an active GitHub Sponsor at or above the $10/month tier.

  • Studios
    If your organization is 10 members or less, then a studio-wide license is also available at or above the $100/mo tier

  • Enterprise
    If your organization has more than 10 members, or you require:

    • Priority support
    • Custom licensing terms
    • Legal/SLAs

    You must obtain an Enterprise License by contacting:
    dan@danfessler.com

1. Grant of License

Once granted, you are you are provided a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

  • Use this software in commercial projects
  • Modify and integrate the code into your own proprietary software
  • Use it for internal business purposes or client work
  • Bundle it with your software for distribution

2. Attribution

If this software is used in a product or service that is publicly accessible, you must provide reasonable attribution in one of the following forms:

  • A credit in your application's "About" page, documentation, or footer
  • A visible link or mention in your GitHub repository, website, or README

The attribution must include:

“Uses react-dockable by DanFessler — github.com/DanFessler/react-dockable”

3. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Resell this software on its own as a standalone product
  • Re-license or sub-license the software to third parties (except within your products)
  • Share access to the source code in a way that circumvents this licensing model
  • Continue to use the software commercially if your sponsorship lapses

4. Termination

If your GitHub Sponsorship ends, your rights under this Commercial License terminate. You must either:

  • Cease all commercial usage of the software, or
  • Renew your sponsorship, or
  • Purchase an alternative commercial or enterprise license

5. Warranty Disclaimer

This software is provided “as-is” without warranties of any kind.
You assume full responsibility for its use in production environments.
