Better separation and management of Notes and Reminders.

Description.
Currently, when a user has many notes and reminders, the main list can feel cluttered. I suggest adding more flexibility to how Reminders are displayed and managed to improve the user experience.

Proposed Changes.

1. Option to hide Reminders in the main list.
   Add a toggle or a menu item (e.g., "Hide Reminders from Notes") that allows users to exclude reminders from the general list. This would help users focus strictly on their notes when needed.

2. Expanded Startup Screen settings.
   In Settings > Startup Screen, add "Reminders" as a third option. The available choices would be:
   Notes (Default)
   Unlabeled
   Reminders

3. Quick Action Button in Reminders list.
   Add a floating action button (pencil icon) directly within the Reminders view, similar to the one in the Notes list. This would allow users to create a new reminder immediately without switching back to the main screen.

Additional Context.
These changes would significantly improve the workflow for users who use the app for both long-term notes and time-sensitive reminders, providing a cleaner interface and faster navigation.

Thanks for your proposals.

1. I am not a huge fan of adding settings to hide/show every kind of label, dates, reminders, etc.. It really starts to clutter the settings. Perhaps we need to reorganize the Settings view, or move some settings into other views. You always also have to think about users that will never touch these advanced settings and for them its annoying the more settings you get.

3. Not entirely sure about that workflow, so you would click the edit button in the Reminders view and then need to select the note for which you want to add a reminder? I kinda feel like for most people they see a note in the notes list view and say ok I want a reminder for it and just enter it instead of them being in the reminders view and thinkin hm I want a new reminder, lets see for which note. But since there arent any other actions in the Reminders view yet, we can think about that

Personally, it would be very useful for me to hide Reminders in the general list with Notes, which is why I wrote to you.

The rest of the options are probably not important.

In any case, it's your app and you can do whatever you want with it.

I think a more popular improvement for #1 would be to be able to exclude certain labels from the default view. This way any reminders and even notes that don't need to show in the main view could be hidden at start.

The only practical way to achieve this today is to set the start view to a label which all notes, lists, reminders that should be displayed at start must be assigned. But this is a chore because for most people the number they want to exclude will be far smaller. I could achieve this by setting the start view to Unlabeled and labeling the ones I want hidden but then I would sacrifice label use generally to categorize.

If it existed I wouldn't use a toggle option to hide all my reminders because generally I only want the recurring, low priority ones hidden.

Everyone has their own point of view, and I’ve shared mine. Personally, I’d prefer not to have Notes and Reminders mixed together. To me, it feels a bit cluttered, like a "dumping ground."

Why go through all those manipulations with labels or other workarounds if the developer could simply add such an option to the menu? If the developer feels it's unnecessary, so be it. In any case, this is the best note-taking app I’ve managed to find.

If the community doesn't care for this feature, no problem at all. They say the majority is usually right :)

A reminder is attached to a note. It is a note with a reminder. This is a note taking app not an alarm clock or task tracker.

Labels prevent "dumping ground". For any note including with reminder. That's why we use labels.

Adding display exclusion to labels is a better technique.
