Description

Problem: Users managing multiple domains on a single Optimole subscription cannot easily see which sites are consuming the most quota. Currently, they must manually select each site from the dropdown and check the Overview page one-by-one to compile usage statistics.

Desired Behavior: Enhance an existing multi-site view—such as the Domain Whitelist page or the Site Selector dropdown—to display the visitor count for the current billing period alongside each domain.

Acceptance Criteria:

  • The existing domains list/whitelist table includes a column or label for 'Visitors (Current Period)'.
  • The displayed data matches the total shown on the individual site's Overview metrics panel.
  • Users can optionally sort the list by visitor volume to quickly identify their top traffic sources.

Customer Context

A pro-tier customer (starter-yearly) managing multiple websites requested a 'Top 10' list of their domains by visitor traffic. They are currently blocked by having to manually toggle through each domain in the dashboard to check individual metrics, making it hard to see which sites are driving their overall account usage.

Root Cause Analysis

The user manages multiple websites under one Optimole subscription and needs to audit which sites are generating the most traffic (and thus consuming their plan quota). The dashboard currently silos visitor metrics by site, requiring a tedious manual workflow of toggling through each site in the dropdown and recording the numbers separately.

Alternative Suggestions

Instead of building a dedicated 'Top 10 Analytics Report', improve the existing domain whitelist page (which the user explored prior to contacting support) or the site selector dropdown by displaying each domain's visitor count for the current period next to its name. Adding sorting capabilities to the whitelist table would fully resolve the user's need to find high-traffic outliers.

Reasoning

The customer needs an account-level view of which sites are consuming the most visits. Instead of building a net-new 'Top 10' custom report feature, we can resolve their problem by improving the existing domain management UI (like the whitelist page or site selector dropdown), bringing the visitor count metric to a view they already use.
