When I plug in a USB drive to a USB 3.0 (xHCI) port, Clover freezes on a black screen with a static "_"

Hello. When I leave my USB drive plugged into the USB 3.0 ports on my Dell XPS l502x Clover (installed on my SATA HDD to boot Windows 7 on NVMe via a Mini PCIe adapter), Clover doesn't boot and gets stuck on a static “_”; if I leave a USB drive plugged into the USB 2.0 port, there's no problem. Even if I wait for the “6” to pass and then plug in a USB drive, it freezes afterward, whether the USB drive is bootable or not. I have no logs on the Clover partition. If it helps, here is my xHCI (USB 3.1) controller: Renesas Electronics USB 3.0 Host Controller
And I’m in Legacy BIOS to boot Windows 7 in UEFI CSM.

Try without the xhci driver. I had a similar problem with displaying icons in a bios cms environment and I solved it by deleting the XhciDxe.efi driver.

Even removing all BIOS and UEFI drivers (my folder is empty) doesn't change anything.

Use CsmVideoDxe.efi, NvmExpressDxe.efi, OpenRuntime.efi, SMCHelper.efi drivers on BIOS directory and check if the following are in the directory Kexts (FakeSMC.kext, VirtualSMC.kext, lilu.kext, NVMeFix.kext, Legacy_USB3.kext ).
If you don't have them, I can send them to you.

Hello, I moved CsmVideoDxe.efi, NvmExpressDxe.efi, and OpenRuntime.efi from the UEFI folder to the BIOS. However, I don't have SMCHelper.efi, and in kexts\Other, I only have FakeSMC.ketxt. :/ Could you please send me the missing files? Thank you.

What version of clover are you using, do you have the latest? If so, try an older one, like this one:

CLOVERX64.zip

If the same problem occurs, try rebooting, removing one driver from the bios each time to see which driver is causing the problem.

Also tried copying the driver UsbKbDxe.efi from uefi to bios directory

I use CLover 5171 and I'll stick with it because your version doesn't detect any USB drives and doesn't detect my Windows 7 EFI on my NVMe drive. Even though it doesn't crash when I plug a USB drive into the xHCI, I can't boot from it. I won't use it.
