we need cap.so for linux. any updates on development for this.i saw a PR on this but do not think any ongoing development #feature request

There is active ongoing development for Linux support. Here's the current state:

Open PRs:

• #1604 - Cap Linux support (draft) - Adds initial Linux support to enable compilation and screen/audio recording
• #1635 - Cap desktop Linux setup - Fixes module resolution on case-sensitive filesystems and recording control interactivity on Linux

Tracking Issue:

• #1553 - tracking: Linux Desktop App support and build pipeline - Contains detailed technical context on what's needed

The work is being done by @richiemcilroy (Cap maintainer) across the cursor/cap-linux-support-8d37 and related branches. PR #1604 is a draft that adds initial compilation support, and PR #1635 stacks on top with fixes for the desktop app to actually record and edit on Linux.
