CalorieToken Trademark Guidelines

Official Trademark Usage Policy

📋 Overview

"CalorieToken," the CalorieToken logo, "$CAL," and related branding elements are registered trademarks owned by CalorieToken (Chamber of Commerce KVK: 84216352).

Trademark Registration:

  • Jurisdiction: European Union
  • Registry: European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO)

These trademarks are protected under:

  • Creating entities that imply affiliation

4. Misleading Associations

  • Implying official endorsement by CalorieToken
  • Suggesting partnership without agreement
  • Using logos/branding as if you're part of CalorieToken
  • Creating confusion about project ownership

5. Commercial Exploitation

  • Selling merchandise with CalorieToken branding without permission
  • Using the logo in advertising for unrelated products
  • Creating derivative logos/branding
  • NFTs or digital art using CalorieToken trademarks

🎨 Logo Usage Guidelines

❌ Incorrect:

"CalorieTokens" (plural - not a trademark)
"Calorie-Token" (hyphenation not official)
"CALORIETOKEN" (all caps except for emphasis)
"Calorie" (alone, when referring to the project)

First Reference

In documentation, the first reference should be:

CalorieToken® or CalorieToken™

Subsequent references can omit the symbol:

CalorieToken, $CAL, or CAL
