Scan64 is an open-source chess-learning application evaluating integration with the Maia3-5M checkpoint at https://huggingface.co/UofTCSSLab/Maia3-5M.
The Maia-3 source repository is AGPL-3.0, while the model card directs readers to the repository for code/weights licensing. Before we use or redistribute a checkpoint, please confirm in writing:
- The licence governing the released Maia-3 checkpoint files, including Maia3-5M.
- Whether third parties may redistribute the exact checkpoint files.
- Required attribution, notices, source, training-code, training-data, model-card, or other corresponding-material obligations when redistributing them.
- Whether hosted use has conditions beyond the stated licence obligations.
- Whether the licence also covers fine-tuned, converted, quantized, or repackaged versions of the checkpoints.
A link to a model-specific licence or an updated model card is sufficient. We will not bundle or download Maia-3 weights through Scan64 until the terms are explicit.
