Hard wrap is enforced with google style

Hello! Is this by design? Is there any way we can disable it? I generally prefer coding in google style, but sometimes I just have to have a very long string (URL, etc..), and I don't want to wrap it on multiple lines. But when google style is enabled, all hard wrap options are ignored and it gets enforced :/

This is by design because the Google Shell style guide requires a max line length of 80 and wrapping of long strings: https://google.github.io/styleguide/shellguide.html#s5.2-line-length-and-long-strings

I guess that you already looked at the proposed alternatives.

Do you expect that no long string is wrapped or that only a few of the long strings are not wrapped?
